Mac osx 10.7.2, usb DMX Pro, not working!!

Hi i have 10.7.2 and a USB dmx Pro, i have tried all releases of :light and i can not get it to work... the latest beta just shows blank windows and the last stable will not allow me to access the menus or recognize the USB DMX Pro.
Can someone help and please give a basic up to date installation process for 10.7 and USB DMX Pro?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i don't know why it doesn't work on your computer as this installer work on a Mac 10.7.2 'out of the box'....
you can try to select /dev/usb-serial as modus operandi but in that case, you need to install ftdi driver that you can find here:
www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

also once you've installed ftdi driver can you please give a try with libusb again just to be sure that it doesn't work in any case on your computer...
i mean, maybe drivers must be installed...

also, you can give a shot to OLA DMX server as it give access to a wide variety of lighting protocol (including usbPro)

Hi I have tried these and still no luck, i have installed OLA, D2XX1 and VCP, the device is running fine in the enttec pro utility but will not connect in :light! If you have any ideas as i am a little desperate at this stage...

did you try with another usb port?

can you try some command in a terminal (/Applications/utility/terminal) as described here

so, did you try to select /dev/usb-serial as modus operandi ? (and don't forget to click on the red led to activate things)

Yes i have tried both modus operandi and when i click the red light i just get a message saying "connecting..." but it never connects! I have also tried with a saved .sho file and a new file. i have restarted many times and also repaired permissions.

can you manually unload ftdi drivers, and try to connect usbPro via libusb.
the command is
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/FTDIUSBSerialDriver.kext

should i also uninstall the D2XX driver?

don't know, i've never used them..., but if you can, go ahead.
here's what you gonna try:
be sure to have unload ftdi driver.
the attached zip is only the executable (modified of course, it will assume there's no ftdi driver)
Ctrl+Click on DLight icon, select show package contents (i don't exactly know in english), move to contents/Resources and put dezipped joined files in it

launch DL, create a new show and try to connect to usbPro via libusb.
my goal is to test if the applescript to unload ftdi drivers is faulty. as this executable assume there's no need to unload drivers
