@cello
Can you post a video or a link to a video to show me your setup and how do you use the freescale command?

I think I understand something (reading all the topics)

if I'm right, know Freescale is relatif and if I send a value > it's +1 and if I send a value< it's -1
but if I send 100(for ex) it's working after I send 101 (for ex) it's working too because it's > but the problem is when I want to send 101 many times so for dlight it's not > but equal...

That's correct or I'm totally out :))))

DL should be compatible with software that can send -100 then 666 in 2 messages... and this is incompatible with -1/+1 range

doesnot matter the value I send.

if the value is not > or < at the previous one, no one si moving. I can't send many times the same value to increment or decrement.

so I dont really see the way to use the new versions because I can't have a +1 or a -1 many times.

with a range of -37000 / +37000 each time you move the fader it should send +1 or +100 depends of the speed of your scroll and the way you move it.
thus, DL will increment / decrement accordingly

yes but touch osc don't work like this. With encoder it's value mini when you turn on left and value max when you turn on right....
ok i have to look how to do with the new thing...

for information I have this controller
www.thomann.de/fr/behringer_cmd_dv_1.htm
It's 59 euros and with a Isadora patch you have many control of device....

it's work very well if people are interested...

@Celio,
so maybe we need a new command for touchOSC compatibility that handle +1/-1

lets' find a new name :)

Ok, I got it now. It works if I keep track of the value within the controller rather then setting it back to zero each time the value has been send.
I'm fine with that. But celio probably can't do that in touchOSC. What is your gain in not wanting to use +/-value anymore? Just being curious...
