KORG Nanokontrol 2- configure so the "play" button led is always ON? was created by mjodar
Hi all,
Just a silly question. Is it possible to leave the "play" button LED on a Korg Nanokontrol always ON? So I can easily see it on the dark while on a show.
I fiddled thorugh the Korg software but find it.
Thank you!!!

Ok, just found the way! I've been trying that for some time, and it actually is easier than I thought.
I'm just gonna write it for future reference, if anyone need to do it.
On the Korg Nanokontrol Editor software configure the "LED mode" to "external"
Then it's as simple as to send a Midi message "Note ON" Velocity 127 to the Nanokontrol, to the channel you want the LED ON.
For example:
"Play (GO)" button is Midi note 41. So just send to Nanokontrol a Midi message
"Note ON 41 127" to turn it ON,
or "Note ON 41 0" to turn it OFF
I'm sending the MIDI message throught QLAB, but it should work with any software able to send MIDI message.
Hope it makes sense
