sorry for bringing up an old topic.
i tried the hsi profile made by Wilf but i couldn't get it working. (i tried this because ETC reccomends it for theatre applications)
then i tried the standard/direct profile and that works, but the colors are off. because i'm using a Series2 i changed white to yellow (ETC says lime which is more accurate) but then the colors are even further off.
so how would i get accurate color mixing with these devices? should i spend a lot of time to make my own colors and save them? how do others do this? (using an ETC console works great and the colors will be super accurate, i know...)
i have always just used LEE filters on incandescent fixtures and i guess i'm used to the luxury of having consistant results.

Hi Birt,
unfortunately ETC x7 colour mixing is proprietary protocol and it's not like they'll share their code with me...
I've tried hard to understand and code for that x7 system but without engenering data i didn't succeed.
