triggered stopwatch

i need to start and reset a stopwatch during a performance and i want to do this with dlight

is there a way to do this with the built-in stopwatch? (it is very small though) or can this be triggered/reset with a shortcut that i can press at the same time as the cue that needs to start it?

i tried to find a stopwatch that can be triggered with OSC or MIDI but i haven't been succesful yet.

any ideas?

did you give a shot to Midi TimeCode?

no i didn't really understand how that works. it looked to me like a way to trigger cues on certain times. i don't need to do that. i need to have a stopwatch for the dancers that gets reset at certain cues.

Are you on mac or PC ?

i am on mac.

i used a simple app called "pace clock"
when the clock needed to be reset i pressed go on my Nanokontrol and R on the keyboard (to reset that clock) at the same time. it's not connected but it did the job.

i tried to put the clock on an external screen but it seems Dlight doesn't like external screens. the main window was still open but i couldn't see it on any of the screens until i disconnected the external again.

I have a little patch that should suits you.
A timer triggered in OSC by :Light. You can Run, Pause, Reset timer with Subs n°21, 22, 23.
You can even add these triggers in your cue list with MLinks.
It runs under Isadora. (video software not really made for that, but it works well)
Download Isadora v1.3.1f06 (fully endless functionnal demo - No save) here :

and open attached patch.

In :Light setup, add an OSC writer :
IP Address : Localhost
Port : 1234
Activate OSC by clicking the OFF red led to green.

and you're done.

est il possible de mettre un chronomètre ou timer sur dlight qui démarrerai à un certain go. Histoire d'avoir une timeline de mon show.
J'aimerais un chrono sur un deuxième écran.
