I can't get it to work. Tried on all USB modes on the BCF, and tried everything.....
I've read on internet there may be a problem on Mac M1 and MIDI (?).
Tomorrow a friend will give me a USB-MIDI cable, and i'll try to send MIDI to the BCF through the USB-MIDI cable, see if that makes any change (some people on internet say that's the solution)

[ Using Dl 4.4.10 on a MacBook Pro M1]
I have the same issue. The ancient BCF2000 works fine for controlling DL, but there is no feedback to the BCF2000.
This seems to be an issue with the M1 (M2, M3 as well ?).
Other equipment (Synthesizer, LaunchPad) gets midi signal from the M1, so it looks like this could be the M1 driver for the BCF2000.
Tomorrow, I will try the above equipment with DL, to see if a midi signal is send. I'll let you know.
[Perhaps it is better WITHOUT feedback. Sure, the faders don't move, but they then also don't move with FLASH, which makes an awful sound . ]
Best regards,
Noël

Hello,
As promised, I tried today with a synthesizer (Roland Fantom-08) and a Novation Launchpad.
As expected, both work flawless, in both directions.
So, we are 100% sure that the problem is with MacOS (I have Sonoma 14.1) on Apple Silicon.
The workaround seems to be to connect the BCF2000 (or BCR2000) through an MIDI-to-USB cable/device.
As I don't have such cable/device, I am not able to test that.
Have a nice weekend
Noël
