Enttec DMX USB PRO not able to communicate with some dimmers

Hello!

I have a problem, not from DLight, but from my Enttec DMX USB Pro. My apologies if that's not allowed in this forum.

It's been a couple of theatres where dimmers wouldn't want to listen to my Enttec. In one of them they had two different models of dimmers, one of them was responding fine. The other wasn't.
In both places I just solved it by sending the output of my Enttec to the input of the theatre's lighting desk. And it worked fine that way.

I know it's not a DLight problem, as the problem was exactly the same sending DMX from Qlab.

My Enttec is flashed with the last firmware, and working from a MacBook Pro M1 2021.

Does anyboday has any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks a lot!!!

Hi,
Best solution is to use an ethernet/dmx node where power of DMX is supplied by the transformator and not by the USB port of your computer.
Or you càn insert a six booster in your dmx chain.
