how to move a device

First thanks for the new tutorials on youtube!!!
I have a questions about devices, Is there any possibility to generate a movement with a device
?
For example I use a Clay Paky alpha beam 700 everything is working, color, gobos prism etc... but I can't move de fixture as a shape generator, is there any way to do it?

there's not yet a generator in DL, this will come in a near future though...
you can use other software (like video mapping software) to generate effects and send DMX via sACN Input to DL, you can Sample those incomings data and playback them with subMasters.

you can also manually make them move and Sample the result.

can you describe me what will be your use of shape generator?
