Group master was created by Pierred13
Maybe it is because my french is not good enough to read all the details, but I could not find any of this in the search:
Is there a possibility to let the groupfaders behave as submaster in stead as group fader? This for instance to prevent a dmx-controlled falling-device to fall during testing of the presets.
Or will there be something like this in the future?
Greetings
Peter

hi,
when you click on the black square (Flash Solo selection) for a Timed Submasters, it will prevent him to be reseted while another Sub (with solo mode) is fired.
in other words, with this new option, HMI projectors loaded in timed submasters won't cut when another submaster (with solo mode active) is flashed.
but i don't know if this is related to your question...

i'm sorry but you'll need to explain this in other words....Is there a possibility to let the groupfaders behave as submaster in stead as group fader?
for the next release, i've put an options to Timed Submasters :This for instance to prevent a dmx-controlled falling-device to fall during testing of the presets.

Another try:
In this show I use a device that lets things drop. It is a electromagnet, controlled by a dimmer. By putting the dimmer at 100% the magnet activates and the thing drops. So I patch the device for instance in dimmer 10 and make a dimmer 10 a group and put it under a groupfader. It alse runs in the presets.
When I go over the presets before the show or when the dancers want to rehearse of cause I do not want the device to activate, because it is all prepared for show. So I need a master that prevents dimmer 10 to go although it is active in a preset or a group. Only when that masterfader is up the dimmer will be able to be active.
This works on all hardware lightboards under names like submaster or groupmaster.
It would be great if
:light also could do this, because now I have to drag a complete lightboard only for this one submasterfader.
But you can't have it all, of cause, but nothing wrong to try.
Greetings,
Peter

Peter,
one solution could be to unpatch the dimmer during the rehearsal, and patch it again (or load the patch with the dimmer patched) for the show.
