Opening old files was created by joancotros
Hi,
I'm trying to open some files from an older version on the newly download version of
:light and they are not opening, neither as .sho or ascii. Any ideas of what can I do?
Thanks a lot,
Joan

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!
I've been trying to export as ascii and delete some parts of the file to detect what was causing the problem. Essentially everything works except the chasers. Erasing that part I managed to recover the cues and submasters.
Then I added some chasers on the new version and exported as ascii, to understand what was the format that could be causing the problem. I discovered that the problem is with the importint chasers with ascii, as the software can't even open the file that just printed minutes ago. So it's not about the format i think, it is probably just a bug or something that prevents from importing the chasers information.
If any ideas come up, I'll be more than happy to listen.... there's lots of chasers in my show and if not, i'll need to add them one by one.
Thanks!
Joan
