sync Dlight FX or movements with audio BPM from Ableton or other daw

I initially thought calculating BPM by computing time differences between click on a button, I didn't thought about an external daw's BPM...
Is it a MIDI transport?

and another question, if the BPM is let's say 350ms per step I think there will be an option in the speedEditor to ask to which times the BPM should be applied, to tilmeIn/timeOut or holdTime.
I think in case of BPM time control delayTimes won't be calculated.

...sounds complicate to me. but I can give it a try. I'll check the speed editor. BPM (Beats per minute) is a music measure, I never calculated the seconds per beat, it's a bar measure 4/4, 3/4 etc.
I don't know if I can explain me well in English. More and more music shows synchro the songs to light changes and effects. I worked on a show with other software (lightkey) That let you link Ableton live with the program and it makes this very easy and friendly. ...I will check better how is this done
For theatre shows I prefer much more Dlight, but I would really like to be able to use this feature.

I had a discussion with some guys on the Discord about BPM and it's much more clear now.
I still have some stuff to do before writing that part but now that it's clear it's doable
