it generally means that you 've attempted to savec a sho while Windows was waiting for a reboot after an upgrade.
so you need to clean stuff a little bit...

-Close your DLight
-Open a file explorer
-navigate to C:
-in the upper side of the explorer, Select View Show Hidden items.
(you should see ProgramData folder)
-navigate to ProgramData/DLight folder
-send to trash everything that end or start with 'tmp'
-restart your DLight and try a save as.

tell me how it goes.

There's nothing that ends or starts with tmp. I've searched even inside all subfolders. Any other suggestion?

By the way, i,ve found I have 2 recovery files. I've tried opening them and 'save as', but I get the same directory not writable message.

Can you post a picture of your ProgramData/DLight folder?

Yes, I have. Several times. Also run CCleaner several times to eliminate any tmp file and clean registers. The same result.
One observation: I have a different folder to keep my .sho files. And if I rightclick on it, it says it is a only read folder, don't know if it has anything to do with it...

Good clue! It lets me save in desk and in downloads folders, not in documents (Isuspect it is because of that 'only read' configuration, I don`t know why it has changed...) I keep trying, i'll inform as soon as I get any news...
