Hy Vincent.

I'm agree with you about a shortcut to have a load step shortcut
and more particulary who go in register 2 (green) automaticly.
(look like to the " Go To B " of the presto).

Because when I do a "cue load" in register 2 I have a new step with the cue, and not "a jump" to go at the cue
We could do this with the ID but if you need to load a cue between 2 ID you can't.

For the update cue, you have the shortcut "modify" : m or M, if it's that what you say by "update"
I know it will be change with the new beta.
Modify will be come Update. ;)

it's the fonction cue_goto, default shortcut "n"
