bonjour luminouses, desole je ne parle pas bien le france… soy español pero better in english…

so i was looking for time ago for quelque logiciel to put a desk lighting on a mac, but not for sofisticated moving lights or disco shows…
I'm very happy to find d::light, at least one theater console for mac, after next tour i'll try it with usbdmx, nanokontrol and a theater… It looks pretty like an old avab. Last theater I went (so big and so new) they was so worried with a brand so new grandMA nobody drived so well jeje! (i worried so, everything was so slow)

I've been trying d:: offline, it works well and friendly. I hope the same with real dimmers.

just trois desires:
-output screen; bettter to see the real output. now when making BO or dimming GM, output levels doesn't change.
-could be nice have more options on flash, like kill (also current cue…)
-possibility to use the MMC controls on nanok. (play, rec, etc) to command go, goback, pause, scene rec, modify, etc. (midi ampliation)

and one BIG question:
- does it work well crossfading on nanokontrol? (I suppose setting X_FADE_X1 and X2 to two nano faders)

anyway, many many congratulations for this big work, I'll try to remember '1show 1 donation', after the premiere … a bientôt i salut.

manu. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

hi,

i'm glad to see enthusiastic people about D::light :)

I'm very happy to find d::light, at least one theater console for mac, after next tour i'll try it with usbdmx, nanokontrol and a theater…

D::Light is designed to work with enttec usb/dmx pro and enttec ODE (ethernet/dmx the one i use).
open usb/dmx from enttec won't work...

i would like to work on Vellemman and Lanbox, but i don't have such products to test, neither time to work on specific code.....
but if you know people that code in C, maybe they can do this part of the job.

when you'll try DL at the theater, don't forget to put the grandMaster to FF and setup your dmx output (in the setup!)

-output screen; bettter to see the real output. now when making BO or dimming GM, output levels doesn't change.

In the data line, GM is after the output screen, so i don't really want him to control data on the screen.
for the BlackOut, maybe you're right...

-could be nice have more options on flash, like kill (also current cue…)

There is an option that's called Flash Solo. it's the little black square under the Flash button.
Click on it to set the function On.
when you flash a submaster with this option is active, other sub will be bypassed.

or can you explain a little bit more?

-possibility to use the MMC controls on nanok. (play, rec, etc) to command go, goback, pause, scene rec, modify, etc.

In the steup, you can set MidiIn to Multiple Input to accept incomming data.
in the Midi Board, you can see wich midi parameter is used when you click on Play/Pause/Rec.....
assign these parameters to what you want in DL, and that's it

and one BIG question:
- does it work well crossfading on nanokontrol? (I suppose setting X_FADE_X1 and X2 to two nano faders)

i do that, and it works well ;)

Bonjour Nico, I'm glad you're glad !

About 'kill' mode on flash button, what I mean is the option to bypass other masters (as now) but also the current cue on X1.

Salut. Manu.

Salut,

gaby

PS bravo Nico pour ton DLight
