Enttec DMXUSB PRO

Dear all, is good to start paticipating at the forum. I worked one month with Dlight connected to a DMX USB MK2 and worked very well. Today i connected my computer to a Enttec DMXUSB Pro and is not working (the DMX device is not responding) . I tested the DMXUSB Pro with the Pro manager (test software from Enttec and is responding) Somebody have a tip what shall i do? Thank you. best regards.

Did you install WINUSB driver thanks to zadig.exe on your pc?

I'm using a IOS 10.10.5 (mac). The driver required are FTDI D2XX, and is installed.

On MacOSX you did not require a driver.

The code is the same for mk2 and for usbdmxpro.
So it should work out of the box (tested today with several osx systems ).

It's really strange cause i checked now with a LX Console and the DMX USB is working normally. I'll insist trying. Best

so you have MacOS 10.10.5
when you launch DL and try to connect to the USB DMX widget, it should ask you for a password (this is required to unload ftdi drivers _ on MacOSX, DL does not require any driver).
does this happen?

Is not asking for a password. Now I'm trying with the Mk2 and the same problem happens. It's seems the DMX signal is not arriving strong enough on the device, because when i'm changing the channels intensities some colors (is a PAR LED)are blinking.

after one hour:

I installed DL (copied from my notebook) in a MacMini and it worked normally.
Also i did installed again at my notebook and the problem persists.
It's a big mystery. I'm sure is not a hardware problem because i tried with two USB DMX from Enttec and both are working.
First i thought if was an USB output problem from my notebook, but also not otherwise when i run LXConsole the DMX device responded normally.

So i rememberedwhat different i did on my computer after last time i did run a show from it.
I downloaded and opened the Korg Kontrol Editor to setup the buttons of my nano control. May this action did affect the USB outputs...?

Nope.

Notebook... pc are notebook. Mac are macbook, macbook pro...

But previously you said you cannot connect to the usbdmxpro, and now you say that led are blinking.
If they blink it means that the usbdmxpro is well connected and you reach the end of the trial period.

Isn't it the case?

It;s a macbook. Sorry, language mistake.
Oh no! Trial period end... yes probably.

Thank you got, yes worked and i run the show yesterday on my macbook again, all working well. I'm still using version 4.0.0. i'll update on Monday, i prefer to finish these next 2 show i have on this weekend.
