QLAB + DL

We are using an application called Qlab for the control of the operations sending midi messages to Dlight for remote control using step forward, but when in rehearsal it would be nice to jump to a certain cue. I would like to send via midi the cue number to trigger Dlight, do you think it's possible ?

i also tried to use Midi Show Control Message from QLAB using the MSC operation with different command format (e.g. Lighting) and different Command messages (e.g. GO, SEQUENCE_+) sending to the Device ID: 1 with Q Number X to jump to certain cue in D:light. In D:light i´ve setup the midi device and input.
Notice: the midi note control from QLAB to step+ or step- in D:light works perfect.So there is no problem with midi connection from QLAB to D:Light.

What kind of message should i send from Qlab to control the cue number at D:Light ?

hi,
in the QLab side, set a step with MSC
in the 'Midi Show Control Messages' tab (at the bottom we you've selected the MSC) you must set
IAC Bus as output patch
All types in Command Format
GO as command and fill the same ID as you've set in :Light
in Q number, fill with the desired :Light cue number (the cue, not the step)

on the :light side, make sure you've set the Midi Input to the same as the Output patch you've set in QLab (you can also select 'Mutliple Input'

and that's all.

Its working now, i believe that my mistake was that i didn´t had any cue in the sequence

by the way, as Output patch i´m using a virtual midi machine called midi patchbay which enables the creation of any input and output midi for rewiring.

je me lance dans le contrôle de DL via d'autre soft (Qlad et Live)
je viens de lire l'ensemble du sujet mais ça ne fonctionne pas chez moi.

j'ai pourtant :
- activé le Gestionnaire IAC dans la conf midi du mac (macbookpro)
- patché dans Qlab le patch 1 sur Gestionnaire IAC
j'ai bien dans mon évènement MSC
output patch : Gestionnaire IAC bus1
command format : all Types
command : SEQUENCE_+
device id : 1
et dans DL j'ai bien sûr activé le midi avec sur midi input et output : Gestionnaire IAC Bus1
Midi show control : 1

mais rien ne se passe quand je fait espace sur Qlab et que le MSC se lit.
merci de me corriger car j'ai dut faire une erreur quelques part mais je ne la vois pas

c'était juste ça ! ça fonctionne avec le GO et la conf ci-dessus.
