Very easy:
Open excel and fill the left column with value 0 to 255 by dragging downwards.
Now fill the right column with what you want. For example: if you want a 60% linear curve, just put in B1 "=A1*0,6"
Now drag downwards to B256. Then select that column and choose integer numbering (round upwards).
Save this file as csv and put it in a folder that is easily accessible.
On my Mac I made a folder in the root directory called "dlight curves" filled with curve-files. This one I call "Linear60.csv"
I also have the opposite for example; 60% on dlight is 100% on dimmer (everything above 60% in dlight stays 255). That series I call "100is60.csv"
Another example is a maxing out curve; a linear curve that stops at, for example 50%. Every dlight value above 50% does not send higher values to the dimmer. Like an audio limiter. I call this example "LinMax50.csv"
The possibilities are only restricted by integer numbers from 0 to 255 and your imagination.

The previous reply I made I did on a phone, now I'm on my laptop so I can upload an example for you. This file is linear75.csv since it is in between a 110v (50%) and linear (100%)
La pièce jointe linear75.csv.zip est absente ou indisponible
