Que update in sequence jumps back to previous

When i update a que that is more than one time in the sequence it jumps back to previous step.
So if que 2 is in step 2, 5 and 9.
when i am in step 9 and make some adjustment live in the (que2) as soon i update the que it will jump back to step 2.
This is not very handy if you are in a live show.
Is it posible to update this.
I am running DLight 3.11 on a Mac
Thanks Vincent

even if it's a feature of DL, I think it's not a very good practice to load a cue several times in the sequence.
thast said you're right, this algorythm can be improve.
what I can do is when you modify a cue (a cue that happen several time in the sequence), DL can look if this cue is in 'scene' or 'prepa' before starting a loop over all the sequence to find it.
your thought?

I am using DL for theater.
Sometime a same scene is coming back several time in a play.
To me it is logical that you copy or use that que several times instead of make all separate que's.
Unless i don't understand the way DL is designed?
Question--- is it possible that DL is not changing the step list ?
Best regards Vincent

I agree but the limit of that is that you cannot use the cue_goto function.
I do use this one a lot during rehearsal when we jump from scene to scene
I don't understand what you mean...Question--- is it possible that DL is not changing the step list ?
by the way, I've pushed code to detect if the modified/recorded cue is in X1/X2. if so, do not jump somewhere else.
and it's quite ok

I think that using a different cue for each step is very important if you use MIDI Show Control from another program to control DLight. For example, MSC refers to the Cue Number, not the step so if you use the same cue in many steps, an MSC command to 'GO' on cue 1 will always go the *first* instance of that cue' eg in Step 1.
Hope this helps
