Sorry I do not know how to write in french. But I can read!
I've launched DLight.sh on the terminal as you say (sh /home/videopata/DLight-32-Linux/DLight.sh)and it came with an error:
"error while loading shared libraries: libXss.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 on a 32 bit computer and downloaded DLight-32-Linux (beta) and am new on linux universe.
What did I do wrong?

your system miss the libxss required by libxml2 provided within
:Light bundle.it's strange because i use a linux distro 'out of the box', and never saw such a complain from the system.
on ubuntu, there's something called 'synaptic' or 'package manager' (i don't remember'...
make a search on this software for libxss or libxml2 (the later should install you the first) and install the lib.
after, try again to launch DL.

And now i'm running a show!

I downloaded the .tar file and untar it onto my desktop. Then I tried two ways to install it. The first one was the typical double click on the DLight.sh, execute it and aparently nothing happens, the second one was also the double click but then choosing the exec on the terminal and nothing happens again. What am I missing here? Do I have to do a "Make install" or a "./configure" of the file?
Best regards from Portugal

you want to try:
sh /path/to/DLight.sh
(please adjust the /path/to to something real for your computer)
tell me how it goes.
