intérêt pour l'application
Until now, I had set up ( a lot) of faders for the circuits and sub masters (and other stuff).
But, when working with scanners and moving heads, I sometimes need to know the EXACT value of the channel.
And yes, I'm too lazy to walk back to my Mac to read the level on the screen...
Turns out, this is easy to do (perhaps you already knew this...)
In TouchOSC Editor :
- create a label
- untick 'Auto' on the OSC (left column)
- set the OSC-string to "/circ/1" (assuming that you want to see the level of circuit #1)
Et voila
Now I can see the value on the iPod/iPad.
And it's from 0-255, which is how the levels are defined in the manuals of the fixtures.
Best regards,
Noël

When you select midi, you can define separate settings for X and Y, which is exactly what I wanted. I used the same midi settings that I already had for my BCR2000/BCF2000. You'll need to download and start 'TouchOSC MidiBridge' (free), and activate MidiBridge in the settings of TouchOSC.
Et voila...
I have set up an XY-pad for each of my moving heads, and 1 (using submasters) to control all of them of the same time. And of course, I have faders for RGB, Gobo and Dimmer.
Best regards,
Noël
P.S. I will post my TouchOSC template, one of these days.

What's in it? 2 pages : LED_Par and Moving Heads.
The first page (LED_Par) is used to control my 8 Par56 LED (top row). These have 6 channels each, but I only use 3 of them (RGB). The bottom row is for 4 Par36, which use 4 channels each : Dim/Strobe and RGB.
The second page controls my 4 Moving Heads (TMH-6). These have 13 channels each, but I only use 7 of them : Pan, Tilt, RGB, Dim/Strobe and Gobo.
The labels initially show the channels (circuits) that are being used, but, when being used, show the LEVEL (0-255) of these channels.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have fun !
Noël
